Frederic Pascual nasceu em 1964, em Hyères (perto de Toulon), na costa mediterrânica francesa. Oriundo de uma família de emigrantes espanhóis (o seu pai foi refugiado político durante a Guerra Civil de Espanha), segundo diz foi a atmosfera rural de pequenos camponeses que o inspirou como fotógrafo.

Formou-se em engenharia electrónica e fez uma pós-graduação na Sorbonne de Paris.

Em 2000 mudou-se para Barcelona e no ano seguinte iniciou-se na lomografia, tornou-se consultor da indústria farmacêutica e transferiu-se para Taiwan, onde manteve residência entre 2003 e 2004. Foi aqui que começou a dedicar-se intensivamente à fotografia.

Frederic was born in 1964, in Hyères on the French Mediterranean coast, from a Spanish emigrated family and the grandfather was a political refugee of the Spanish Civil War. It is in this peasant and working medium family that he grew up and started to feed the mind with images from human at work.

He is Engineer in microelectronics and graduate with an MBA — IAE from La Sorbone Paris. He moved to Barcelona in 2000 and he begun to shot in 2001 with the Lomo Cam. He is now expert in services and consulting for the Pharmaceutical Industry and lived in Taiwan in 2003 for one year. That's the year he really begun to make photography with the Leica, 35 & 21 mm lens.
