Alzira Matilde Gaspar
The Montesinho Natural Park stretches all along the territory border Northeast of Portugal, begins at Quintanilha (south) Réfega, Deilão, Guadramil, Rio de Onor, Varge, Aveleda, Meixedo (cited peripheral circle of Bragança), França, Montesinho (the village), Mofreita, Moimenta, Pinheiro Novo (in the far north-west, connecting to the Barroso mountains).
In Moimenta da Raia, an isolated village at the gates of Galicia, Spain, lives Alzira Matilde Gaspar. She prays everyday to St. Luzia and to Our Lady of Fátima. She was left alone when she was 76 years old, after her husband passed away.
Sick, Alzira Gaspar emigrated with their family in December 2008.
